Progress M-47, identified by NASA as Progress 10 or 10P, was a Progress spacecraft used to resupply the International Space Station. It was a Progress-M 11F615A55 spacecraft, with the serial number 247. Progress M-47 was launched by a Soyuz-U carrier rocket from Site 1/5 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome. Launch occurred at 12:59:40 GMT on 2 February 2003.〔 The spacecraft docked with the Aft port of the ''Zvezda'' module at 14:49:04 GMT on 4 February.〔 〕 It remained docked for almost seven months before undocking at 22:48:08 GMT on 27 August 2003〔 to make way for Progress M-48. It was deorbited at 01:49 GMT the next day.〔 The spacecraft burned up in the atmosphere over the Pacific Ocean, with any remaining debris landing in the ocean at around 02:37:46 GMT.〔 Progress M-47 carried supplies to the International Space Station, including food, water and oxygen for the crew and equipment for conducting scientific research.
